The hanger is made of the internal component of a cluster missile from a BM-27 Uragan multiple rocket launcher that fell in the village of Ocheretino, Donetsk region, and was used to fire at Ukrainian military positions mixed with civilian ones. The idea of the work is to show how different meanings can be given to an object with the same name. Before the war, most people associated the word “rocket” with development, space exploration, and human achievements, not with a means of mass murder, which is generally prohibited by the Geneva Convention. This component of the rocket was deformed during the crash, so the author decided not to correct this flaw, which emphasizes the idea of deformation of the concept. With this work, the author wants to remind us what exactly the meaning of the word “rocket” should be.
