Volodymyr Balyberdin

Volodymyr Balyberdin Ivanovych is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

He lives and works in Kyiv.

He is a laureate of the Kateryna Bilokur Award. His accolades include the “For Creative Achievements” medal, the “Laureate of the Tetiana Yablonska Award” medal for accomplishments in the visual arts.

He heads the decorative and applied arts section of the Kyiv organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

Volodymyr specializes in decorative and applied arts as a jeweler and sculptor. He has organized, curated, and participated in numerous exhibitions, art events, and open-air workshops both in Ukraine and abroad.

He organized an exhibition of Kyiv decorative artists at the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku in 2012.

He has organized many exhibitions for the decorative arts section of the Kyiv National Union of Artists. He is the initiator and chairman of the organizing committee of the All-Ukrainian project “Contemporary Fire Art of Ukraine” (ceramics, glass, metal, 2015, 2018, 2022).

The artist’s works are preserved in the National Museum of Folk Decorative Art, the Museum of Historical Treasures of the National Historical Museum of Ukraine, other Ukrainian museums, and private collections around the world.
